1. During the wedding planning, what was the most important thing for you?
The most important thing for us during the wedding planning was, without a doubt, choosing the wedding photographer. We wanted memories that would last a lifetime, so finding the perfect person to capture these precious moments was crucial.
We were incredibly fortunate to find Catherine Dumontet, an exceptionally talented wedding photographer. From the moment we saw the quality and authenticity of her work, we knew she was the one.
Our choice turned out to be an absolute success, and we never had a single regret. Thanks to her, each photo tells a story and captures the love, the private moments, and the emotion that marked this special day. These are the kinds of memories that make walking down the aisle and the entire wedding journey so meaningful.

2. What made you fall in love with your dress?
What truly made me fall in love with my wedding attire was its perfect blend of beauty and elegance. The moment I saw it, I was captivated by the intricate lacework and the dramatic, stunning train. It was a dress that seemed straight out of a fairy tale, making me feel like a true princess as I walked down the aisle.
However, what made it even more special was the reaction of everyone present. When I walked out of the fitting room and took a few steps toward my friends and family, the entire store fell silent.
Even the other customers and staff stopped in their tracks, captivated by the moment. That silence, filled with emotion, overwhelmed me, and I knew instantly that this was the dress.
That unique moment will stay etched in my memory forever.

3. Do you have any tips for future brides starting their dress search?
Absolutely! My first piece of advice for future brides is to research the type of wedding attire that might suit them before stepping foot in a store. Ideally, find inspiration that highlights your figure and know which styles might flatter your body shape. In other words, do your homework before searching for the perfect dress!
It’s also important to remember that the dress you try on in the store won’t always look exactly like the one you’ll wear on your wedding day. Don’t let minor details discourage you; many small adjustments can be made to customize your dress and make it uniquely yours. These tweaks can turn a beautiful dress into something that feels just right for you.
Lastly, communication is key. Take the time to talk with the sales staff and seamstresses. They can not only adjust your wedding attire for maximum comfort but also make modifications that will make it even more special. The support and advice of experts can make all the difference between a dress that looks nice and one that makes you feel absolutely stunning as you join your wedding party.

4. What is your best memory from your wedding day?
There were so many incredible moments that day, but the most unforgettable was, without a doubt, our “first look.” This wedding tradition, where the couple sees each other before the ceremony, was filled with intense emotion and pure magic. We decided to do the first look outside, despite the biting cold, because the winter day provided a stunning backdrop. Fresh snow covered the ground, adding a touch of sparkle and enchantment.
I approached Danny slowly as he stood in a narrow path, facing away with his eyes closed. The silence around us made the moment even more profound. Later, he told me that he was savoring every second, absorbing the anticipation of the moment he would open his eyes and see me in my wedding attire for the first time.
Gently, I placed my arms around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder. He turned slowly, and when our eyes met, I saw his expression light up. A tear slid down his cheek, and at that moment, the world around us stopped.

It was a private moment we will never forget, filled with the purest, most sincere love. After a few moments of silence, he managed to speak, his voice trembling: “You are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.”
Those words resonated within me, and we smiled and cried at the same time, overwhelmed by the intensity of that shared moment.

A Winter Wedding: A Bold and Inspiring Choice
For those considering a winter wedding, I can only recommend it. Of course, it requires a bit of preparation and some courage to brave the cold, but it’s worth it.
The winter ambiance brings a unique charm and exceptional photo opportunities, especially with a fresh layer of snow. The photos from our wedding have a magical touch, as if they were taken straight out of a fairy tale. It’s an ideal setting to capture the love and intimacy of such an event and to create memories that will last well beyond the cocktail hour and reception.

Tips for a Successful “First Look”
If you’re thinking of arranging a “first look” before the ceremony, here are a few tips:
- Choose a meaningful location: Whether it’s outside in the snow or in a place with sentimental value, the setting should reflect the atmosphere you want.
- Plan the logistics: If your wedding is in winter, consider warm clothing or blankets to stay cozy between photos. Make sure your wedding party is comfortable as well, so they can join you for group photos and moments with friends and family.
- Savor the moment: Take the time to fully enjoy the moment without rushing. Let the emotion settle in and allow your wedding photographer to capture authentic and heartfelt photos. These candid images are often the most cherished.
In Conclusion
We wish Sarah and Danny a life full of love and endless happiness. Their story and shared memories remind us of the importance of those small moments that make a wedding unique. When couples decide to embrace traditions like the “first look” or create special moments with their friends and family, it adds a deeply personal touch to their wedding day.
